I OWN A 1998 CHEVY MALIBU LS, I NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT KIND OF OIL IT TAKES.?

I own a 1998 Chevy Malibu LS, I need to know if anyone knows what kind of Oil it takes.? I checked the manual I saw, nothing in it describing oil type or anything like that. If anyone has a V-6 98 Malibu LS It would be great if you could tell me what you put in your car. So no one thinks i'm a retard this is my first vehicle and I really don't want to mess it up.
